Caterpillars- Ages 3 - 4 years
The caterpillar room is home to our 3-4year old children and houses up to 20 children on any one day. This room has 3 wonderfully dedicated carers who are on hand to meet the developmental, physical and emotional needs of the children in their care. Individual development charts are kept on each child monitoring their stage of development and assisting staff to program for each child's needs.
Our Activities
Each day your child will have the opportunity to participate in:Music group, story group, craft activities,dramatic play as well as lots of fun equipment and learning to make friends through play. Now we are getting bigger again than our friends in the grasshopper room and learning is becoming serious business - there is so much for us to achieve .We are advancing our skills - our numbers, colours, shapes and lots of other concepts are now developing more fully - some of us are even starting to write our name. Friendships that last right throughout our lifetime are beginning to form in these years. All our learning is still lots and lots of fun and yes we are still not too big for lots of cuddles.
