The Pitt Town Pre School has been owned and operated by the Witt Family since 1985.
Pitt Town Pre School prides itself on a family atmosphere and old fashioned service.The Centre is staffed by many wonderful staff members who are all handpicked, dedicated child care workers.
Our staff range in qualifications from Early Childhood degrees and diploma trained teachers to Certificate III trained assistants.
Maryanna Witt is dedicated to the needs of children and their families and is personally on hand to discuss families' needs and oversee the direction of the centre.
It is our conviction that 0 - 5 years are some of the most important developmental years of any child's life and form the foundation for the rest of their life. The experiences a child has at pre-school level are fundamental to their future development.
Our centre has comprehensive individual development goals for each and every child, monitoring and planning programs to meet your childs school readiness needs. We firmly believe that school readiness is not just a one year process prior to starting school but begins at birth.
Pitt Town Pre School is purpose built to meet the needs of all age groups including a separate facility and playground for before and after school care and vacation care.
Pitt Town Pre School has been fully accredited by the National Childcare Accreditation Council since the introduction of the accreditation scheme, always attaining the highest quality rating. The centre is looking forward to continuing its high standard through the national quality framework which replaces the previous accreditation system.

Our centre is made up of many rooms. Two 0-2 year old rooms (our Turtles), a 2-3 year old room (our Grasshoppers), 3-4 year old room (our Caterpillars) and a 4-5 year old room (our Butterflies). Each room is run independently and has their own teachers and assistants. Developmental charts are kept on each and every child ensuring that each child is assisted and encouraged in developing to the very best of their potential.
School readiness programs are focused on in all rooms and in particular the final year prior to starting big school. Our aim is to prepare children for their life ahead in big school and the big wide world making friendships, memories and skills that will stay with them forever.
